The vertical garden planter is designed to be easily wall mounted and used for patio areas, balconies or fixed to internal walls. The metal frame is sturdy and the three (3) metal planter boxes are simply attached and moved to any of the rungs to suit. Both the wall planter frame and planter boxes are of metal construction. An installation kit for indoor or outdoor use is included.
Our planter boxes are best used as cachepots that aesthetically hide the pots that contain the plants. This is commonly used to reduce the hassle and mess of moving the planters every time the plants need watering. This practice is referred to as double potting. The smaller pots hold the plants that are then placed in the vertical planter boxes. When your plants require watering, simply remove the smaller pot and give it plenty of water and allow it to drain thoroughly. Replace the pot back into your decorative planters. If you would like to plant directly into the planter for outdoor use, you will need to either create drainage layers inside the planter if you wish to leave it intact or drill a drainage hole into the bottom of the planter.
Tips for planters without drainage holes- do not overwater and provide bright, indirect light. Do not put plants in pots without drainage holes outside, if you are planning on being away for extended periods of time.
